2019 Speakers

Mark Bush is a certified Open Group Architect at Avistar Consulting Ltd., providing Enterprise Architecture consultation focused on converged OT/IT architectures in the energy industry. Avistar Consulting has been a member of the Open Group’s Open Process Automation Forum since 2017. Mark held roles as Enterprise Architecture co-chair and co-lead of the System Management subcommittee, contributing to the Open Process Automation™ Standard (O-PAS). The 1^st version of the O-PAS standard was publicly released at the ARC Forum in Orlando on February 4^th, 2019. Mark recently retired from Royal Dutch Shell (RDS) after 20 years, where he held several architecture roles including process control domain reference architect, lead solution architect in Shell’s Unconventionals enterprise architecture program, and enterprise architecture program manager in the CIO Office of Shell Canada.
